Inverter Counter Chiller
A chilled prep-counter refrigerator holding +2 to +8 degrees Celsius, available in 2-door and 3-door models from 4 to 7 feet, plus a narrower 600 series. Runs an inverter compressor with R290 refrigerant for quieter, lower-cost operation.
The Berjaya Inverter Counter Chiller is a chilled prep-counter refrigerator built for kitchens that need reliable +2 to +8 degree Celsius holding at working height. The range runs from the compact 2DC4-IV-Z up to the 3DC7-IV-Z, spanning 2-door and 3-door configurations in 4, 5, 6 and 7 foot lengths, with an equivalent 600 series offering a narrower depth for tighter counter runs. Every model uses an inverter compressor and R290 refrigerant, so the variable-speed cooling and lower running cost apply across the whole line, not just the largest unit.

Frequently asked questions
Q1. What temperature range does the Inverter Counter Chiller hold?
The Inverter Counter Chiller holds +2 to +8 degrees Celsius across every model in the range, which is the correct band for chilled food storage at counter level.
Q2. What is R290 refrigerant and why does it matter?
R290 is a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with a very low global warming potential compared with older synthetic gases. Berjaya CKE uses it across the Inverter Counter Chiller range, keeping the equipment ahead of refrigerant phase-down rules in Malaysia.
Q3. What does the inverter compressor actually change day to day?
It varies its speed with the load instead of switching on and off at full power. For the Inverter Counter Chiller that means a lower starting current, a quieter kitchen and steadier holding temperatures than a fixed-speed equivalent.
Q4. Why does the insulation thickness matter?
Thicker, high-density foam slows heat transfer from outside to inside, so the unit maintains a stable internal temperature with less strain on the cooling system.
