Established in 1980, with more than four decades of thriving in the commercial foodservice equipment industry, BERJAYA CKE has grown to become the leading commercial foodservice equipment & refrigerator manufacturer & exporter in Malaysia. Our products not only well known locally in Malaysia but has also gained international recognition by exporting to more than 60 countries. Today, BERJAYA is one of the key players globally, exporting high-grade products to countries all over the world.
In 2024, Berjaya Steel Product Sdn. Bhd. and CKE Holdings Sdn. Bhd. were renamed to Berjaya CKE International Sdn. Bhd. and Berjaya CKE Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. when entered into a partnership with AIGF (Singapore), a private equity firm sponsored by Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan).

Berjaya Steel ensures that it complies with legal and contractual reporting obligation, which includes Reporting stack monitoring, local exhaust ventilation, chemical exposure monitoring & Chemical Health Risk Assessment. Scheduling the waste storage, Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS), Fire Fighting System. Complying and monitoring on International Standards which comply ROHS, MEPS, CE, IEC and EMC requirements. Successfully involve in HCFC phase out Management Plan which coordinate by UNDP and introduce cyclo-pentane forming for refrigerator industries.

Chronological Events
The company was founded as a cottage industry, fabricating stainless steel kitchen equipment.
Started manufacturing commercial food service equipment.
The factory was relocated to a modernized building with factory land of 3.3 acres (1.35 hectare).
Export Department was founded. The export team started overseas business development aggressively.
Started manufacturing commercial refrigerator.
An extra factory of 2.2 acres (0.9 hectare) was acquired and manufacturing facilities
were upgraded.
The largest manufacturer and exporter for commercial refrigerator and commercial foodservice equipment in Malaysia.
Corporate office was moved to newly completed corporate building WISMA CKE in Cheras Kuala Lumpur.
The successful conversion from traditional manufacturing process into conveyor system, the production capacity doubled.
Warehouse at Chan Sow Lin Kuala Lumpur was completed.
Our R&D and testing facilities were upgraded with the latest high-tech equipment.
A new factory of 2 acres was acquired and upgraded.The 9th and 10th showroom opened at Petaling Jaya
and Rawang Selangor.
The 11th showroom opened at Klang Bestari Selangor.
Products exporting to over 60 countries.
The 12th showroom opened at Ipoh Perak.
